Events and weekend opening

Activity Saturday
30 September 2017, gates open 10am- 2pm

Come and enjoy the nature or join in activities organised by the Friends.

10am-12.30 Practical conservation. Help maintain the habitats at Railway Fields. Guidance, hot drinks & tools provided. Join in for as long or short as you wish.

11am-12.30 Family Wildlife Arts, aimed at children of primary school age but open to all. Free. Plus, special for this session – dissect an owl pellet (basically the undigestible bits of prey that an owl coughs up). It’s a fascinating glimpse into diet of these amazing hunters – read our blog post for more info.

Weekend opening times:

Last Saturday of every month 10am-2pm

Sundays: the second and last Sunday of every month, 11am-2pm (dependent on weather & volunteer availability)

  4. Hmm is anyone else encountering problems with the images on this blog loading?
I’m trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I was wondering if it matters if we arrive for the family art late? We can’t get to you until about 11.15am and don’t know if we need to be there from 10.30? Thank you
