Events and weekend opening

WILLOW LANTERN WORKSHOP
Saturday 25 November, 10am-1pm, FREE

  • Make a fabulous willow lantern with willow artist Georgia Wisbey of Twisted Stocking
  • For children aged 6 and over with their parents/carers (no unaccompanied children)
  • In the Railway Fields cabin

**Join us again on 2 December to walk with your lantern in our Wildlife Lantern Walk around Railway Fields (see below)**

Run in partnership with Twisted Stocking, supported by Tottenham Grammar School Foundation.

WINTER CELEBRATION
Saturday 2 December, 2.30pm-5pm

  • Drop in from 2.30-4pm to make a simple lantern (suitable for all ages) and take part in tree dressing
  • Followed at 4pm by a Wildlife Lantern Walk through Railway Fields, celebrating different aspects of nature with light and song
  • Mulled wine & mince pies
  • FREE lantern making, tree dressing and walk, donations to the Friends of Railway Fields welcome

ACTIVITY SATURDAY
27 January
2018, gates open 10am- 2pm

Come and enjoy the nature or join in activities organised by the Friends.

10am-12.30 Practical conservation. Help maintain the habitats at Railway Fields. Guidance, hot drinks & tools provided. Join in for as long or short as you wish.

11am-12.30 Family Wildlife Arts, aimed at primary school age children but open to all.

Weekend opening times: 

Last Saturday of every month 10am-2pm

Sundays: the second and last Sunday of every month, 11am-2pm (dependent on weather & volunteer availability)

  2. Hi Dorothy, yes we will be running another bat walk at Railway Fields during the summer – we don’t have a confirmed date yet but will post details on the website as soon as we do.
