Winter Events:

Willow Lantern Workshop
1st December 
2018, gates open 10am-1pm

We’ll be making willow lanterns for our Winter Celebration (taking place on 8th December) with the wonderful Twisted Stocking.

This event is a free drop in session. It is suitable for all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome.

The Friends of Railway Fields would like to thank the Tottenham Grammar School Foundation for funding this event.

 

 

Winter Celebration
8th December 
2018, gates open 2.30pm-5.30pm

Gather at Railway Fields for this year’s Winter Celebration. There will be a magical lantern parade around Railway Fields accompanied by song, as we celebrate the creatures who live at the site. There will also be mulled wine and homemade cakes. Join us as we toast this wonderful time of year.

This is a free event. Donations welcome.

Weekend opening times:

Saturday Conservation
The next Saturday Conservation Session will be on 26th January 2018

20170527-DSC_5316Come and join us on the last Saturday of the month.

10am-12.30 Practical conservation. Help maintain the habitats at Railway Fields. Guidance, hot drinks & tools provided. Join in for as long or short as you wish.

11am-12.30 Family Wildlife Art, aimed at primary school age children but open to all. Drop in, free and whatever the weather.

 

Last Saturday of every month 10am-2pm

Sundays: the second and last Sunday of every month, 11am-2pm (dependent on weather & volunteer availability)

  2. Hi Dorothy, yes we will be running another bat walk at Railway Fields during the summer – we don’t have a confirmed date yet but will post details on the website as soon as we do.
